LoTheMaR Opals, started in New Jersey, now based in Maryland, specializes in handmade jewelry, showcasing Australian opals. Thanks to a close relationship with a miner in Magill, South Australia, we are able to get great quality opal for a reasonable price, and share the good prices with our customers. We cut and polish our own stones, and specialize in the more unusual forms of opal, not often seen in traditional jewelry stores in the US.
Although opals are our central focus, we do also work with other stones, and we are always looking to help people in a search for specific pieces. Like the opals, we cut and polish man of our cabochons, and set them. In addition, we wrap shaped stones (hearts, crosses, etc) and do gemstone bead work with a variety of stones.
We currently sell our jewelry through our Etsy page, direct sales, and at craft shows. We use only the finest stones, and our pendants, rings, bracelets, and anklets are made from real sterling and gold wire; we do not make use of junk or base metal wire at all. All of our work is guaranteed, and repairs, if necessary, can be arranged simply by contacting us.
